The Courthouse and all County entities will be closed on the following dates in observance of federal holidays in 2026:
- New Year’s Day – Thursday, January 1
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day – Monday, January 19
- Presidents’ Day – Monday, February 16
- Good Friday – Friday, April 3
- Memorial Day – Monday, May 25
- Juneteenth – Friday, June 19
- Independence Day (Observed) – Friday, July 3
- Saturday, July 4: Memorial Living Center, Sheriff’s Office, Pool
- Labor Day – Monday, September 7
- Columbus Day – Monday, October 12
- Veterans Day – Wednesday, November 11
- Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 26
- Day After Thanksgiving – Friday, November 27
- Christmas Eve – Thursday, December 24
- Christmas Day – Friday, December 25
Filings and in-person services will not be available on these dates. Normal hours will resume on the next business day following each closure.
Please note: Prairie Pines Golf Course may be open on observed holidays, weather permitting and depending on staff availability.
