Stanton County Senior Center Update
Beginning March 26, 2026, the Stanton County Senior Center will be taking a temporary pause on on-site meals due to staffing shortages. While this change came a bit sooner than our originally planned April 20 date, we’re working behind the scenes to keep things moving forward.
Originally, meal services were scheduled to be suspended beginning April 20, 2026, to allow time for reorganization and operational adjustments. That work is still very much underway, with a focus on using resources as efficiently as possible while continuing to serve the residents of Stanton County.
We know how important these services are to our community, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition. A variety of ideas are being considered, and while not all changes will happen at once, the board is carefully reviewing options to ensure the best path forward.
During this time, the building will remain open for existing activities. For building rental inquiries, please call 620-492-6816 and leave your name, phone number, and requested date. Please allow up to 24 hours for a return call.
Please note, this temporary change does not affect the Memorial Living Center.
